Farewell to ‘Hallo-Wheen'?

October 31st marked Francis’s official retirement from Private Eye — was it also the last iteration of an old joke? It was certainly a moment that set me thinking about the difference between the Fleet Street he joined as a 1970s school leaver and the remote working environment of today.
