This 48 page booklet provides essential information and helpful photographs to navigate the Staande Mast Route. Section one runs comfortably from Vlissingen to Willemstad via the Versemeer and Oosterscheldt. Section two, from Willemstad to Amsterdam, includes instructions for joining the Amsterdam midnight convoy plus an appealing (though longer) route via Leiden to avoid this. There are more options after Amsterdam: a direct north route to Den Helder or sailing and exploration via the Markermeer and Isselmeer. The fourth section, transiting Friesland, concentrates on routes entering at Lemmer, Stavoren or Harlingen and exiting at Lauwersoog or Delfzijl. The information is the best available from 2018: CA members can participate in the on-line commentary and updates.
