Sam Steele has surveyed and learned from the experience of 85 previous circumnavigators. For this edition she has rewritten her chapters on navigation, weather forecasts and communication. Her final section offers ‘Ten of the Best’ selections – most memorable experiences of castle anchorages, tidal races, iconic lighthouses, beautiful rivers. 

You don’t have to circumnavigate to see at least some of these and her project management approach would be useful for any extended home waters cruise.
