No one, surely, would be venturing into the Great Yarmouth to Ramsgate cruising area without this invaluable book. It has its own website, newsletters and regular conversations on social media which develop a sense of an ECP community.  The authors describe it as an evolving project and their assiduous attention to detail and information received from fellow sailors ensure their information is as up to date as book publication allows. This new edition is approximately 20% longer than the previous version. Partly this is attributable to a clearer, brighter design with some outstandingly useful (and often beautiful) drone photographs to head each section.

The final section on Thames Estuary passages benefits from constructive partnership with Roger Gaspar’s specialist work.
