Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 1:52PM Looking through my Margery Allingham notes to check biographical details of Phil 'Cheapjack' Allingham, I came across one of the verses Margery wrote for Joy in 1927. "I wished that from her frilly skirts the lace would come apart" - scareee!
